Steps

  1. Check that your nationality appears on the list of countries subject to a visa published by the Immigration Department, and whether entry is by air only.
  2. Create an individual MYVISA account: change the temporary password received by email, then log in with your password and the one-time code sent by email
  3. Submit from abroad, outside Malaysia, Israel and North Korea. Allow at least 14 days before departure
  4. Upload clear and legible documents that comply with the specifications: a blurry or illegible image may lead to rejection of the application or refusal of entry.
  5. Pay online, by credit card or electronic wallet (Alipay, WeChat Pay), the visa fees according to nationality and the processing fees.
  6. Track the application: announced processing time of 2 to 7 working days after complete submission and payment, excluding weekends, public holidays and additional verifications. Respond quickly to requests for documents or an interview
  7. Download the eVISA (eVISA Note) from your account, then print it in A4 format or keep the digital version.
  8. Unless exempt, fill in the MDAC arrival card within the 3 days before arrival in Malaysia, on the official portal. Present your passport and the completed card at immigration control
  9. On arrival, present the passport, the eVISA and proof of travel, return and accommodation suited to your situation. The immigration officer decides on admission
