Your passport must remain valid beyond the intended period of stay. The official page expressly provides, for holders of a Taiwanese passport, an exception allowing the issuance of a visa on arrival; it continues to classify this passport among non-recognized passports.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness states that Mauritian law requires travellers to complete this form before travelling to Mauritius and that proof of its submission is requested at boarding. The form is entirely free of charge. Refusing to complete it or knowingly providing false information in it exposes the person to a fine of up to 500 000 Mauritian rupees and to imprisonment of up to five years.

Check that your Taiwanese passport remains valid beyond the intended stay and that your trip falls under the 60-day visa that may be granted on arrival.
Prepare your return ticket and accommodation, verify your right to return, and have sufficient funds for the stay.
Before departure, complete the free "Mauritius All-in-One Travel Digital Form" and keep proof of its submission for boarding.
On arrival, proceed to immigration control. The exception allows the issuance of a 60-day visa; it does not guarantee admission.
