The ETA is open to citizens of the United Kingdom. Each traveller, children included, is subject to a separate application, completed on the KSA Visa platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The application is completed accurately to avoid delaying processing.

For Irish citizens, the Visa Waiver is a single-entry authorization for a stay of 180 days at most. The application is completed online, outside the Kingdom, from 90 days to 48 hours before travel.
Printed Visa Waiver approval, to be presented on arrivalVisit Saudi announces processing that may take up to 24 hours. Visa Waiver approval is sent by email; print it and present it on arrival.

British citizens: complete the ETA form on the KSA Visa platform with a passport valid for six months and a recent photograph, then pay the applicable fee.
British citizens: track the application with its number on KSA Visa. The decision is announced in one to three working days and sent by email
Irish citizens: submit the Visa Waiver application on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs unified visa platform, outside the Kingdom, no earlier than 90 days and no later than 48 hours before travel.
Irish citizens: wait for the approval sent by email, announced within 24 hours at most, then print it for arrival

Validity and duration of stay of the ETAConditions and details
For British citizens, the ETA authorizes multiple entries. KSA Visa announces a validity of two years and displays 730 days, as well as a duration of stay of 180 days. Check the dates and conditions stated on your authorization before each trip.
Uses permitted by the ETAConditions and details
The British ETA covers tourism, business, study and medical care. Muslim visitors may perform Umrah outside the Hajj season, after obtaining the necessary permits if they are required. The ETA does not permit working or performing the Hajj.
Visa Waiver: single entryThe Visa Waiver for Irish citizens permits a single entry, for a stay of 180 days at most.
eVisa and visa on arrival remain openConditions and details
Visit Saudi also presents the eVisa and the visa on arrival for British and Irish citizens. These are options distinct from the ETA and the Visa Waiver: consult their own conditions, durations and fees before choosing.
IntermediariesFor any information on the ETA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites you to use its communication channels and to avoid unauthorized persons or companies.
British ETA: before travel and without extensionConditions and details
The British ETA cannot be issued on arrival and cannot be extended. Obtain it before traveling. In the event of refusal, KSA Visa states that you can submit a new application at a Saudi mission in your country.
